[Best of] Blumzie's best of 2010

Questo blog va in vacanza fino all'anno nuovo, ma prima di partire non potevo lasciarvi senza LA MIA PERSONALE TRACKLIST DELL'ANNO APPENA TRASCORSO. Non sono in grado di dire quale sia stato l'album dell'anno o la canzone più bella, e anche se lo sapessi non credo che avrebbe molta importanza. Personalmente ho trovato che l'album dei Foals Total live forever fosse quello con il maggior numero di belle canzoni, anche se la canzone che mi ha emozionato di più è stata O maybe I dei Chapel Club. La palma del migliore esordio se la contendono Best Coast e Surfer Blood. Non mi esprimo sugli italiani perchè ho ascoltato troppa poca musica nostrana. Confidando che nel 2011 il botto lo faranno i Chapel Club (primo album in uscita a fine gennaio) ho già in programma di vederli dal vivo in Aprile qui ad Amburgo.

A me onestamente la svolta elettronica-sperimentale del buon Sufjan non è piaciuta. Per me SS è quello di Chicago, John Wayne Gacy jr e delle Canzoni di Natale. Insomma, quello che suona il banjo con le ali e la casacca con gli stemmi del Michigan e dell'Illinois. Ogni anno quando si avvicina il Natale metto su le sue compilation natalizie e penso che questo sarà sicuramente il peggiore.

[Album] Il teatro degli orrori / A sangue freddo

Questo è un gruppo che vorrei strumentale: non mi piace la voce del cantante, non mi piacciono i testi. Peccato perchè cavolo se sanno suonare! A sangue freddo del 2009 è il loro secondo album studio. Assolutamenti consigliati live.

Wild Nothing è un progetto solista del musicista americano Jack Tatum (Jack and the Whale, Facepaint). Il primo album della band, Gemini, è uscito nel 2010 ed è stato acclamato da Pitchfork come uno dei migliori dell'anno. Nonostante non si tratti proprio del mio genere indie preferito (un po' dream-pop un po' shoegaze), dopo il primo ascolto posso dire tranquillamente che in tutto l'album non c'è una canzone da buttare. Consigliato!
